Introduction
Dear lovely our saints!
The Lunar New Year's Day, one of large festive day traditionally, is coming on
next week. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ that you will receive and overflow
good luck and happiness from God for Happy New Year. Everybody is so happy
and our heart are throbbing for the expectation of a hopeful new year, and then
we consider determining a new plan But on the other side, he must be in anxiety
to overcome the depression and to reduce the risk. for it is getting harder and
harder day by day for his way of living So I think that our Christian who believes
the God should make a new plan for Happy New Year.
Our loving God already taught us the secrets to overcome the wicked world.
And He over thousand times commands and forgives us to follow his commandments
and promises for our happiness. In the Old and New Testaments the secrets are
countless written by God the Father, and God the Son , and God the Holy Spirit.
For example, in the Book of Psalms 1st is about the man who is blessed,
in Deuteronomy chapter 6 and 10 tells the secrets of blessing with detail.
In the New Testament chapter 5 of Gospel Matthew the sermon on the mountain
are called as The Beatitudes tells us the best way of famous blessing.
Now Let us think about the secrets only in the New Testament, Gospel Matthew.
Largely those are in the two aspects of Love and Missionary.
As we already well know all .the Matthew chapter 22, from verse 37 to verse 40
are about Love which Jesus Christ gave us as the new first and second commandments.
And Matthew chapter 28, from verse 19 to 20 is about great missionary mandates.
Those are our exactly our new hope and new plan for our happy new year.
I The Two Greatest Commandments
1. Let's love our God-Love the Lord our god with all our heart and with all
our soul and our entire mind (Mat.22:37). This is the first greatest commandment.
2. Let's love our neighbor-Love our neighbor as ourselves. It is the second
Greatest commandment
All the Law and the prophets (promises) hang on
These two commandments (fulfillment) (v.40)
How do I love for Him? Deuteronomy chapter 6 teaches us that
"Love the Lord your god with all your heart and with all your soul and
with all your strength."(Deut.6:5) God repeated it in chapter 11 again.
1) You must keep these commandments on your hearts. (Deut. 6:6)
2) You must teach them on your children. (v.7)
3) You should talk about them whatever you do (v.7)
4) You should tie them as symbol on your hands. (v.8)
5) You should put them on your foreheads.
6) You must write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.
Because to fear the Lord our God, to walk in all his ways, to love Him,
to serve the Lord our God with all our heart and with all our soul are
the Lord's first commands and decrees that God is giving us today for
our own good.(Deut. 10: 12-The true religion)
II. The Great Commission: The Missionary Mandates (Matthew28:19-20)
[Mk16:14-18, Lk24:36-49, Jn20:19-23]
Before Jesus ascended unto the heaven, he said to eleven disciples
to Galilee's mountain.
3. Go and make disciples of all nations
4. Baptize them in the name of the Father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit.
5. Teach them to obey everything I have commanded you.
Conclusion
In Deuteronomy chapter 11, from verse 13 to 15:
"If you faithfully obey the commands I am giving you today to love the Lord
your god and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
Then I will send rain on your land in its season, both autumn and spring rains,
so that you may gather in your grain, new wine and oil. I will provide grass
in the fields for your cattle, and you will eat and be satisfied." And Jesus
promised again to us, if we keep the commands faithfully, He surely be with us
to the very end of the age. Because Jesus Christ has not only all authority
in heaven and on the earth as our King, but also he is only our savior Messiah.
Therefore Let us make a plan and start all things for Happy New Year from
Loving our God and to obeying His commands and follow Him entirely
and surely and faithfully.
